Hi,
I upgraded my laptop from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. I
have both Office and Act on this pc. I can not e-mail
people in Act through Outlook anymore. In fact, when I
click on Outlook I get a message that says "The add-in
c:Windows\system\actext.dll could not be loaded or
installed. This problem may be resolved using the Detect
and Repair on the help menu."
I have tried using the Detect and Repair - it asks for the
Office installation CD which I insert into the CD rom
drive. It runs through for a few minutes and then
says "Installation Complete". However, when I go back
into Outlook I get the same message. I tried unistalling
and reinstalling Both MS Office and Act but neither of
these worked.
Can anyone shed any light on this matter?
Thanks,
Chuck
