I am trying to help out a Friend and the computer he has was running XP Home.
He had a stop error (Register Error) and we need to reinstall Windows XP
Home. I have the Security ID number from him, but not the disk. Where can I
get another disk so that I can reinstall Windows XP? Please advise.

Thank you all for the help.

If by "Security ID" you mean "Product Key" - then you just need a copy of
Windows XP Home edition that is the same type as his - most likely OEM.
Anyone's *generic* OEM Windows XP Home Edition CD will likely work fine.
