hWhen I try to access one specific (legitimate) site, I get an error message
saying
IE6 has to close and it was getflash.dll running when the error occurred.
Doing M/S error reporting, I follow the link to the Adobe site and install
the latest FlashPlayer update (version9) and reboot. But the error still
persists everytiem I access the site and the same suggetsed solution appears
form M/S.

Is there a workaround for this?

Or, if I need to unistall FlasPlayer, how do I do so?

Thanks

Try uninstalling Adobe Flash Player:
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
"How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control".
Then reinstall Adobe Flash Player:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
My advise is not accept Yahoo! Toolbar offer.
