get rid of the vertical scrollbar below the slide

How do I get rid of the vertical scrollbar below the slides in my
presentation? The same picture used repeatedly jumps around because some
slides have that scrollbar and others don't.

Hi Rain

Do you mean in edit mode? Sounds like something has been dragged off the
slide - you can find these 'hidden' objects by hitting tab and powerpoint
will cycle through the elements on the slide. Or you can use the select
multiple objects box (2003) or the selection pane (2007) to find them.

Many times I see a bunch of extra carriage returns below the last line of
real text.
