Big John

I'm so frustrated!! I was forced into Vista against my will, kicking
and screaming every inch, but I've got it and am struggling! About the
time I think I have something figured out, something else hits the fan!

I made the mistake of opening "Magnifier" a few days ago, just to look
at it and check it out. I thought I had it closed when I finished
playing with it. Now every time I reboot it pops up and I have to
struggle with trying to get it closed so I can go on with my work.
Also, since this started when I go to my start menu I'm told it can't
display everything - that I need to adjust my screen resolution - -and
I can't figure how to do that. I've adjusted my font DPI and that
doesn't seem to help. Searched everywhere I know to look, but like a lot
of other stuff - it's well hidden!

How can I get it off of my system, or at leased closed so that it goes
away unless I ask for it??

Even when I get it closed, The top of my screen - address bar etc. stay
about three times as large as they should and take up 1/3 of my screen.
Don't know if that's magnifier or something else causes that.

Any help will be appreciated!!

Hi, Big John.

Start | All Programs | Accessories | Magnifier

For me, just clicking this far turns the Magnifier ON. And clicking the "X"
in the red corner turns it OFF.

Clicking Help tells how to use and manage Magnifier, but it does not tell
how to turn it off. :>( I've clicked Help there and answered the feedback
question, saying No, it was Not helpful because it doesn't tell how to turn
it off. Perhaps if you will add your comments there something will be
done - eventually.
