Sometimes my print jobs generate pages of garbage. I can't use the printer application to cancel the job. I have to use the task manager to kill the spool process, then manually delete the file from the spooler directory. My printer is an hp deskjet 932c, windows xp home.

HP has support documents that will walk you through most printing problems
