My client has 3 computers connected to a Netgear wireless router
Win 2k laptop - wired connection to router - everything works fine
Win XP desktop - wireless connection to router - everything works fine
Win XP desktop - wired connection to router - successfully gets correct IP
address (192.168.0.4), gateway (192.168.0.1), etc. from DHCP on the router,
but cannot ping the router (192.168.0.1) or any other IP address.
Turned off firewall on the desktop, went to services and task manager and
made sure that no other firewalls or unusual processes were running.
Completely scanned the PC with Mcafee to be sure there were no viruses.
ipconfig /release & /renew work fine, but still no ping.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
