Get in safe mode

I need to log on the PC in safe mode.

I have Campaq Presario.

I do I get into safe mode?

I tried F8, but nothing.

HELP!

The timing of when you press F8 is critical - after POST and before Windows
starts to load. An easy way to do it: Boot the computer. While the POST or
OEM screen is on display, repeatedly tap the F8 key. If successful the
advanced start menu will appear with the option to boot to Safe Mode
listed.

If you still have difficulty with that, try using the /BOOTSAFE option on
the boot.ini page of Start> Run> MSCONFIG
