Frankenstein monster of a "tweaked" driver package. Unless someone had
specific need for all those extra things, it would make more sense to use
the 5.12 CP direct from ATI.

There IS a CP for 5.12 from ATI?

Aff. It's buried deep in ATi's site without a direct link. You can, however,
download it from Guru3D very easily.

They bury it in the FireMV section, but this is a direct download:

Once you run the .EXE, it'll extract into two independent install
directories: one for the 5.12 driver, and one for the 5.12 CP. You can quit
at that point and then just run the CP installer.

When you mix and match drivers and CP's, though, there's a tendency for a
couple of the CP tabs to come up missing. If that happens, these messages
give you a very easy way to get them back:
