Get button into menu bar that does runs a sub procedure

On a form a have buttons for 3 different automation
procedures that open up Word.
Instead of having them on a form I'l like to have the
buttons as menuitems in a sub menu called "Word
documents".

Is it possible to assign a sub procedure to a menu item i
a custom menu bar?
