Get audio from Advent 6441 laptop to Samsung LCD TV

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I have?
I have an Advent 6441 laptop which I am trying to get onto my Samsung 32" LCD TV.
I can get the picture on through the digital monitor port, but there is no sound.
I tried buying a port that gots from the headphone jack and splits into an a white jack and a red jack, but still no sound through the tv.

Hope you can help?

AJ try going into your settings on the TV and they usually have a section which allows you to change around the inputs and ouput configuration

Sorta like a hardware patching built within the TV


Alternatively and trying not to tell you to suck eggs makes ure all ya volumes are up and not muted
on Laptop and/or TV ;)
