Had a problem with my trusty puter and consequently lost my new-server
account and settings. Now simply cannot find them anywhere

Anyone know of a newsserver which I was signed on to which is German based
and if I recall correctly is school/college based too. It does not take
any - or very few - binary groups and is brilliant at catching all the posts
to groups like this.

Anyone with any info - the web address would be a great help - Thanks in
advance

Sounds like the one I use, even though my cable ISP has its own news server:

Regards,
Ian.
