german dialog boxes

I am running XP home on a laptop. I use Solidworks. Some
of the dialog boxes (save file etc.) appear in german
while the rest are in english. I have not installed any
language packs but have, on occasion, installed demo or
trial software. I suspect one of these installations. Is
there any way to correct this. It is annoying but not
disabling. Otherwise there are no problems.

Some system-near files have been replaced with German versions. Try
the System File Checker, which you can start with the command
SFC /scannow
via Start > Run.
