George Best.

He was the most spectacular football player I have ever witnessed on a football pitch [live], his football skills were second to none!

Yes, just read about it online.

I know George/his life etc.... generates controversy but it's a sad way to go. Sad for the family and so many other people involved in his life and care. A very troubled soul I suspect who never found what he was looking for in life.

It's good that he will be remembered for his football skills rather than his infamous private life. 59 really is too young to go :(

I agree, it was quite impressive to see all the tributes around Old Trafford on the news this morning.
