Hi,

I cannot install Photo Story 3 on my PC. I get a dialog box that I do not
have a genuine Windows XP. But I do. And I do have a product key sticker
on the back of my Dell tower. I called Microsoft; they confirmed that my XP
is valid. They want to charge me $35 for their technical support to resolve
the Photo Story issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Alex.

Try again. On my desktop (home built) I have a purchased version of XP. No
problem with registration when downloading PS 3. My laptop (Toshiba) came
with XP installed. I don't exactly remember what I had to do to download PS
3 but I did have to do more. Something like a second option. Something like
entering the type of computer, its serial number or where I bought from. But
I did get the registration. Since you have a Dell, it came with XP on it
just like my Toshiba. So try again and look at the different options when
trying. Sorry I can't be more explicit about directions, I just remember
that I had to do more to get PS 3 on my laptop than on my desktop.
