I have about 600 computers with Windows XP Pro. They were ghosted with a
base image. It appears that they have the wrong authentication code.
Windows update givesme an error message with the Genuine Validation. Is
there any way that I can change the autentication code across the network? I
am booting each computer with the correct CD and entering the code manually.
I figure that I will finish about Dec. 2007.

It sounds like you are doing a repair install on each machine if you
are booting from a CD. You don't have to do that, try one of the
following utilities to change the Product Keys, you will still have to
do each machine manually but the utilities may be able to be installed
on a central server and run from a central logon script.
