Generic Host Process for Win 32 Services pop-up

Hi everyone,

I have installed the patch amd the tool and my PC is
virus free. However,the above error massage pops up with
the 3 options of either clicking on to see the error
report, send error report or don't send. It is NOT followed
by the 59 second to shutdown as I have got rid of the
virus. It sticks like a leech to the screen and there
is no way of closing or getting rid of it.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions
on how to bliz it?

Please help someone.

Hello Kathy,

same thing here (in Germany :-). Didn't find a reason, but I think
it's the patch agains MS-Blast. After three day's looking for a
reason I decided to format c.

Sorry, no other suggestion from my side.

Thanks for the reassurance. So did you managed to rid of
the wretched "Generic Host rubbish" by formattng C?

I have yet to resolve my problem.
