Generate Folder List or Folder Map

How do I display my website folder list on a webpage?? So I can use it in
the left hand frame of my index page as my table of contents so visitors can
use it to navigate. Thanks if you can help, secondary question,
Isn't there a way to view a website's folders on your browser?? ie? i have
seen it before but don't know what url address is a folders list?

1) to create links of all html files in Folder List view select them and drag them to your page
2) You can only see a list of files in a folder on your web in a browser if your host has turned on directory viewing (and there is
no file in the folder w/ a home page file name)
