How can I log into the current session using 2K Server?

XP Pro will show the desktop and open files/apps when I remote in, but 2K
Server will create a new session. (I think this is what's happening.) How do
I configure Remote Desktop to allow me to log into the current session with
2K?

Thanks in advance,

If there is a disconnected session, it will connect you to that session when
you logon as the same user. But if you dont have any disconnected session
they you'll get a new session.

In case of XP, since there is only one session that is possible (you can
either work remotely or work directly at the physical console there is no
problem here), you always get the same session.

Also, in case of Win2k Server you cannot open connect to the console of
Win2k Server directly. You can do this with Win2003 Server.

Hmm,

Well then that will have to do. But you're saying with 2003 Server I can
connect to the same session like XP? Then maybe I will consider upgrading
sooner.
Thanks!

If you mean connect to the console session, then yes - but note that
the console will be locked once you connect....
