Help! I have been trying to set up a general password for Windows XP, the one
that it's the first thing we see as soon as we turn computer on. This
password gives access to Windows. As soon as my screen is on I tried F1 but
it didn't work out. Inside the Windows at Control Panel there are passwords
for Administrator and Users but those are not the ones I need since that to
reach that point Windows is already ON. Any ideas, please? Thanks in advance.

Jodelle;
There is no such thing as a "General Password".
You are talking about the BIOS password.
The BIOS password is a feature of the motherboard and has nothing to do with
Windows .
Check your motherboard/computer manual and/or contact the manufacturer for
BIOS password details.

Oh ok, I mentioned general password because that was the term that people
from Best Buy used when I took my laptop and asked them to set up the
password. I have found another one that works for me, I changed the way that
XP asks for the USERS password and it's ok now. Nobody else who has access to
my PC can log on if I am not aware about it.
Thanks anyway. :)
