general maintainance issues

I have been trying to clear the search engine on my laptop but cannot seem to
get it cleared. I have cleared history, temp. internet files, browser
history, and autofill forms. But everytime i try to search for something in
the search engine as soon as I type in a letter the computer brings up
everything that has ever been searched for on this laptop in the last 4 years
that start with that letter.

How do I get it cleared?

Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools, click on Internet Options,
Click the Content tab, click the AutoComplete button under Personal
Information, and then click the Clear Forms button in the Clear
AutoComplete history area.
