Could anyone provide pros and cons to a product called CoffeeCup vs Front
Page? Currently users in each department use Front Page to update there own
departments subweb. One department has an individual pushing to use
CoffeeCup. Any reasons why this would be a good or bad idea??

I would say that this claim on their website would discredit them -

"CoffeeCup VisualSite Designer is a WYSIWYG Website Creator"

It would be impossible to have a WYSIWYG Website Creator unless there were
only a single version of a single browser in use.

I checked it out (http://www.coffeecup.com).

The quickest answer to your question is, try them both out. Both have free
trial versions:

FrontPage: http://www.runaware.com/microsoft/frontpage2003/
CoffeeCup: http://www.coffeecup.com/software/

An overview of the CoffeCup VisualSite Designer features tells me that it
can do about 1% of what FrontPage can do. You already have FrontPage,
correct? So, do you want to spend $49.00 per user for software that neither
adds to the functionality you get from FrontPage, nor does much of anything
that FrontPage does?
