THIS IS PART 2 OF GENERAL ACCESS ERROR FOR MORE INFO READ:"general access
error"

I am using aWindows Vista so...

-IE 7 is standard and Mov Maker worked fine untill recently that is (so I
don't think that's the problem)

-I've also seen a report that disabling the
ffdshow codec could be the fix. To accomplish
this...open Movie Maker and go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...Uncheck...
ffdshow / OK.

=> not an option either cause i cant enter the program (when I click the
icon all it says is "general access error"

-And the site
(http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-Issues-Acceleration-and-Codecs.html) says
something about .ax but i don't have clue what he's talking about

BTW srr for my bad English but I do my best

Please stay in the original thread.

Creating multiple threads for a single
issue gets very confusing and aggravating.

And of course IE7 is not the problem if
you are running Vista...that is why I clearly
stated:

"You fail to mention your OS...if you are
running **Vista...disregard** the following."
