Is there a program for making gedcoms and exporting them with ALL the
information intact and possibly making a webpage. I am using the free PAF
genealogy program from the LDS church and I am very frustrated when it
changes the names of people it considers as"Living". I made a webpage with
it and it replaced all the living names with just "Living". If I had wanted
that done, I wouldn't have gone to the trouble of entering the information
in the first place. Is there a program out there that doesn't "CENSURE" what
I have entered?

Are you sure that it is PAF that is censoring your gedcoms to edit out
living persons? Mine does not, nor can I find any configuration to make
it do so. Have you encountered this problem after uploading a gedcom to
a genealogy site? Most of them do edit the data you send in this way to
protect living persons from internet fraud.

dunno (identity theft *is* a big problem) but you'll find a pretty
complete list of Genealogy freeware here (thanks to a post from an ACF

When I upload the gedcom the names change or when I make a web page using
PAF, even if I don't upload it and just save it to my hard drive. It is
possible the site edits out the living and not PAF, as I can export to my
hard drive and nothing changes, unless I make a web page using PAF. Thanks
for the help.
