Gen Record Number within Primary Key

Employees can have 1-10 local tax entities. In my query I want to generate a
record number within employee, so that employees with only one local tax
entity will have only rcd no 1, those with two local entities will have rcd
nos 1 and 2, etc. How can I generate such a record number in my query? Thanks

Queries weren't created to solve such business logic issues. This is
something better handled by code, especially in a multi-user
environment.(You don't want two users both creating rcd 3 at the same time.)
