I have one of the above cards and have installed the new Catalyst 4.3

anywhere.....

Could you please advise?

no it is not built in...the only thing built in is "Overdrive"..which is an
auto overclock...other than that you can use Omega drivers which has
"Radlinker" overclock feature built into it.I run the Omega drivers on my
ATI9600XT.

Ahh. Thanks for that. How do I know if "Overdrive" is in use or not?

You will see the clock frequency change up (hopefully !) and there will be a
check in the box.

Its built into my ATI9600XT card. there is a tab for overclocking which also
shows Temp.
Cant speak for the Gecube model.

Not all 9600XT's have the hardware chip that enables 'Overdrive' for
overclocking. My 9600XT does not. I use RadClocker for this
http://www.radlinker.com/ it's better than most other Radeon tweak software.
