I purchased GOW for my pc---and after launching the game it just stops.

I have installed the latest version of LIVE. my pc:

evga 680i/duo-core 2.4/2gb ram

any ideas? error below.

what graphics card do you have and how much ram does it have on it the evga
6801 is just a motherbaord.....
 
I'm having a problem just installing GOW. When the installer starts I get
the error message: "Error Applying Transforms". Any ideas? Also, why can't I
start a question? When I click on New Question the computer just beeps but no
window comes up. I can only reply to those already posted.
 
no because i have XP not vista yet me and my brother are going to get vista
after he gets back from jobtraining
 
i have xp and i play it buy the menu that says play uninstill website and
exit and when went to my friends and it kick me out said it run time is out

XP, Vista it doesn't matter, your game is crashing. A "run-time" error
means something on your system doesn't like Gears of War, your original
problem is lost to me, but I'd say update your video card drivers and audio
card drivers and try the game again.

FYI, you should never post your email address in plain text format online.
Spammers will pick it up and add you to thousands of mailing lists. If you
