I attempted to install Defender on Windows Server 2003 Small Business.
After receiving the error message, I installed and copied the gdiplus.dll
file as specified in KB915052. (I have successfully done this on another
server).

When I tried to reinstall Defender, I get the same message referring to
KB915052. I went back to make sure that the file copied. I even went
through the process again, and got a message that the file was already there.
Any ideas?

As your experience with the other server indicates, you should not be
getting this message on that platform.

One possibility is overly-restrictive permissions on that file--you might
compare the permissions on that file, which presumably are inherited from
the directory, between the two machines, if this isn't too hard to do.

Bill is correct here. GDI+ is already a part of the Windows 2003 OS.
