Folks,
If you install gcTCPObjLib.dll (distributed as part of the MS
AntiSpyware package) as an add-in in Excel, you get a couple of interesting
new functions (GetHostNameByIP and GetIPByHostName) in Excel.

Are there any licensing laws/rules I'm violating if I include this DLL
inside a MS-Word doc (a how-to)?

I doubt very much that you'd be able to get permission to redistribute this
code from the beta product.

You really need to post in a developer-oriented group, preferably one where
Microsoft has a presence, to get any idea whether this would be a problem or
not. I think it is quite unlikely, I'm afraid, but again, I'm not a
developer, nor do I have any idea how this kind of permission would be
acquired.

thanks - I'll try that.
