gcasDtserv.exe taking up 100% of CPU

Two users have complained about their computers slowed
down to a crawl. After checking to see what processes
that are running, I noticed that gcasDtserv.ext was
eating up 100% of the computer's resources. I had to
turn off this process in order for my users to continue
to work. Is there anything I can do about this problem?

Yes, it is a MSAS process, to fix the CPU 100% issue, apply this fix:
Update VB v6 service Patch 6 using the following link...

I have applied the CB v6 Service Patch 6 and the problem
remains - any further thoughts?
