gcasDtServ.exe, How Do I Keep It From Starting

Under Options-->Settings-->Real Time Protection, I've unchecked the boxes for:
Enable the MSAS security Agents on startup.
Enable real-times spyware threat protection.

However, I'm still getting the MSAS icon in the system tray. Does anyone
know how to stop gcasDtServ.exe from executing at startup?

That process allows the program to function. The service you are probably
looking to disable is gcasServ.

Click Start > Run type in msconfig press enter or click ok, select the Start
up (tab), uncheck gcasServ
