Gauges for Depicting Business Performance Indicators...

This is my first time looking at this newsgroup, so the answer to my
question may well been discussed previously.

For the purposes of presenting business performance indicators, I would like
to create a series of gauge symbols (much like the round fuel gauges or
speedometers that used to be in cars before the digital dashboard) with an
arrow indicating the value of each specific business indicator. The rear
face of the gauge would probably have three defined bands, coloured red,
yellow and green.

As such, if I were tracking six business indicators, I would see six of
these gauge symbols. In the first gauge, I might see the arrow at some
defined deflection halfway into say the green band. This would tell me at a
glance that this performance indicator is in the acceptable range.

I've done a search of the Internet using various key words trying to find
low cost Excel add-ons that would provide the desired functionality to no
avail.

Can any of the readers of this newsgroup assist?

Thanks in advance to all respondents.

Hi Gary,

Take a look at Jon's example of speedo chart.
