I've got Gator and can't get rid. Have used Adaware and Regclean, but
iy keeps coming back.

Have deleted folder called CMEII.

How can I stop it coming back?

Thanks

You can tell IE to prompt on downloads. You can use an alternative browser
like Firefox (very close to IE in look and feel) that is more secure than
IE. Firefox is free and only use IE when you have to use it on sites that
won't work without IE.

I had the Gator problem about 4 years ago and I successfully removed it
after doing a Google search to find out how to do it. Since it was 4 years
ago for me, I can't remember how I did it and by now, Gator has probably
morphed into some more evil. I suggest that you do as I did 4 years ago and
do a Google search on +remove +gator .

Good luck,

Steve
