When I try to browse a specific site using IE6 I receive the following
error,

Gateway Timeout The following error occurred:
Code:
A DNS lookup error occurred because the request timed out
during the lookup.

I can browse anywhere else, and can others can browse this site from other
systems. Any ideas why I get this error only on this one system, and how to
fix it?

Thanks,

Jim.....

From this machine:
1. Can you ping by name, such as www.yahoo.com?
2. Can you ping by IP address, such as 4.2.2.2?
3. Is there anything different with the IE settings then the other machines?

This problem is happening with one of our remote users. I will ask him to
try the things you suggest, and to set his IE settings to their default
values. I will let you know the results.
Thanks,
