We are using 2000 server with rras for dail in and vpn access. The problem
we are having is that when clients are connected they cannot surf. If I
define a gateway of last resort the connected VPN clients can then surf but
if they disconnect the can not reconnect the message they get is Error 678
:There was no answer if I remove the gateway of last resort then they can
connect fine I have put in static routes to most of the internal corp
subnets with no problem but when I put in 0.0.0.0 snmask 0.0.0.0 gateway
a.b.c.d then it quits answering. Is there a way for it to get the EIGRP
info from the main routers I have not been able to find a place where it
realy meshes with this protocal.

Are you using the "Use default gateway on the remote network" option in the
client side?

Turning that option off did not accomplish all the desired results
The client can now surf while th tunnel is up but can only see the internal
subnet that the ras box is hooked to not any of the other intrenal subnets
even thought there is static routes set up pointing to them in the rras
setup which the client can see when theis is selected.

I still think I am missing something in the routing
interaction between rras and the EIGRIP scheam we are
using on the main corp wan routing can any one shed some
light on this
