when i bought my computer from p.c world my 128mb geforce fx5200 graphics card was set up for me out of the box but they disabled the onboard one for me when i purchursed it. if i restore my computer will i need to reinstall the graphics card and disable the onboard one from the BIOS again

Running restore will not mess with the BIOS.

You most likely will have to reinstall driver for the new card.

No BIOS should have been done, so the on-board video card should still be
turned off.

not sure what you mean by restore but the bios should
remain unchanged your onboard grahics will remain
disabled.
