Garmin GPS 12 - any freeware for it?

There are several free programs. I also use a Garmin 12.

This is my favourite program http://www.gpstm.com/ , it's very good.

I found it to be the best. I mainly use it for overlaying my tracks onto a
map that I created. You just have to have two known points on your map to
calibrate it.

Thanks - that looks very good. Can you scan in a commercial map and
calibrate that?

I am not sure how far you have gotten into this but you will need a cable to
connect your Garmin 12 to your computer.

There is a ton of software out there. Take your time and try it out. Two
of the above do not qualify as freeware but I listed them because I use
them.

Any picture can be used. You just need to calibrate it with two waypoints.
