Right, what I want to know is this, I got a really good
were talking dual processor a total of 5Ghz, 3GB RAM, 1
Tet scsi hardrive, 256 ATI Graphics card, to I need to go
on.

Now currently is got a 64bit 1000mbit network card &
1000mbit HUB and I have 2 old machines each with a
1000mbit network card in, what I am wondering is it
possible to use some kind of terminal services to play
games on my 2 old pc's,

I have tried remote desktop, but its no good, remote
desktop will not play games for some reasons unless they
are in a window inside the windows desktop.

Please could anyone tell me how could I play games using
remote desktop or terminal service. Can terminal services
play games????? maybe remote desktop can't but maybe
terminal services can and what operating system will I
need, windows 2000 ???

Thank you, please post

Yes, it is possible to play games - see
http://dev.remotenetworktechnology.com/ts/tsquake.htm for
information...

However, until LANs run at computer bus speed, the performance will
not be optimal for the clients... The bandwidth and speed of the
network will severely impact video speed.
