win2k is probably not your best choice for a gaming machine

I second the XBOX idea. It's the biggest time consuming machine I have
ever purchased.

I have had Windows 2000 for three years, it plays games just fine. Some
older games may not play, but I haven't had any problems with any new
titles.

It runs on an old Abit kt-7 motherboard with an AMD Athlon XP 1700
shoehorned in. An ATI 9000 vid card, SB 512, 785 MB of ram. It still runs
fast and will keep up with any game made today. Damn good computer still for
3 years old.
