I ahve 1.6 athlon with 40Gb and 256mb with a 128mb ge force 5200. Whenever i load a game of any kind it loads fine but when i move i am in slow motion and i jump in slow motion but when i fire its fine, same as everything else moves fine except me. Does anyone know how to help me? I changed from a radeon thinking that it was a conflict but its still the same. I have done numerous virus checks all come up clean. I have played games before and they have been fine untill about 3 months ago when it started. I now have broadband and would love to game please help me im in need!!

Your machine is little underpowered for what you're trying to do. Upgrading the RAM to 512 MB would definitely help (costs approx. $70-80). If this is not possible, try closing other programs such as Messenger, Photo software and anything else that you don't need running and see if that helps.

Thanks for your reply

When i formatted the comp the first thing i done was load and play the original half life without putting a single programe on the computor. Half life need 8mb to run and it still wouldnt work. I will try buying some more ram just seems funny how i was playing counter strike fine and it just went funny. Ive already added 128mb

Go to start---all programs---accesssories---system tools-
--system information---look for harware,conflicts,see if
you vidio card is sharing a path with something else---if
it is take it out and swap it with another slot ( if
posible if not swap some pci slots around and see if it
works better)WOW wanted radeon,got a G FORCE 440,Works
great with my 1.3 Celeron,256 Ram, 120 Gig HD(tho started
with a 30)Had same problem, video card shared the sound
card path, swapped it works fine now. Good Luck
