i have recently fresh loaded win xp pro on my new barracuda drive partitioned
4x10 gig @. (should be stated that c: was a misload during setup and the os
is on D:) i upgraded tp sp2 before loading other programs , save the virus
protection maybe(pc cillin) which may have been loaded first.
the war of the ring world editor, map creator for the game, creates ".wor"
files that need to be in a folder called "levels"
(D:/programfiles/liquidentertainment/warofthering/levels) which needs to be
created as a new folder. i have done this before, no problem. i try on the
fresh load and the file does not appear to be accessed by the game. the map
files show in the levels folder but do not appear in game. i am aware of no
settings in game, i suspect a file access problem i know too little about.
this has worked seamlessly in the past, i am lost.

Right click on that folder and make sure that you have full permissions
to it. You might need to log on using the Administrators account first.
