Hello there, I hope someone will help me with this. Every
time I load up a game, either it is from my harddisk or
from the net, after few mins. I am playing the computer
completely turns off. What the heck is going on? Thanks
for your help in advance.

Most times it is a hardware problem, Max. Make sure you're updated with
current drivers (including motherboard). If you've just recently acquired
the computer, you are probably running drivers on the hardware that were
written in the summer of 2001, well before the October release of Windows XP
that year. Don't assume because the computer is new that it is updated. Go
to Windows Update and download all the fixes, then visit each hardware
manufacturer's web site to get their latest drivers.

Thanks very much. Have a nice day.

Let us know how you do, Max. If you update everything, you should be okay.
But, if you still have problems, you can go into Control
Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer and click on the Application listing
in the left panel. When you do that, you'll see a listing in the right pane
which may include yellow triangles with exclamation points or red circles
with white X's in them. You can right-click those and receive a portion of
the error message, which may lead to solutions. But first, update
everything.
