My Granson wants to use my XP home addition for his games but I am having trouble
download them, when I click the game icon a screen comes up saying
This sample cannot run in a desktop window with the currant display settin
Change your desktop to a 16-or 32 bit display mode and re run this sample
well it double dutch to m
I have gone into control panel and display settings, my currant setting is medium 24 bit or the lowest 16 bits I have tried changing that but it still does'nt work so I just wondered if I have to download something, I am at present up to date with downloads I try to keep the computer serviced as much as possible
 
Make sure the game is compatible with windows XP, it
should say on the box or at the download site. If its
compatible with windows but not specifically XP you can
right click the game icon and choose properties then click
the compatibility tab and choose the windows OS it's
compatible with.
