I just installed Windows 2000 Professional and find that it is limited
regarding games. I mean games like Hearts and Spider Solitaire. Does Win2k
Pro come with more games and, if so, how do I install them?

Thanks!

Cody

That's pretty well it Cody. If you look in the Windows setup in the
control panel add/remove software you can check to see if all the games
are installed. If you have and older MS Best of Entertainment diskette
(used to ship in the W95 days) all these little games will work on W2k,
Chips Challenge was my favorite. Also. if you have a W9x/Me cd you can
probably install these games on W2k, if you can see them on the cd... I
did say probably, I haven't tried it but I'm 99% sure it would work. If
you give me your email address I can email you some stuff. By the way,
now that you have W2k what do you think of Me?

I'll try it. I use those games to put me to sleep ..

Not much. What a difference! It's like I have a real computer now! It's too
bad my old HP's motherboard can't support W2k.

Oh I don't think that Chip's Challenge would put you to sleep. It was a
simple little game but is was highly addictive. It had something like
140 levels. When I first played it I couldn't stop and spent something
like 2 weeks playing it for hours on end. It plays with only the 4
arrow keys on the keyboard. If you want it I'll send it to you, if I
can find it...

Yeah, Me is a sick joke of an excuse for an operating system. I call it
Mylanta Edition. Maybe I'm being too critical... the important thing
for Me users to remember is that Me works just fine as long as you don't
run any applications on it...
