Games why don't they work?

Fifa World Cup 2006 will start up and then just hangs on a black screen

BattleField 1942 loads up and almost loads the map and then crashes


WHY?

Because 1) they're not compatible or 2) the system and drivers currently
have issues.

I've been running Vista & BF1942 on a Sempron 2400, 2 gigs RAM and 6600LE
vid card. Has worked fine.
 
I share Ratas' problem. Lucky you if you have it working, but it's obviously
a problem when multiple people have the same issue.
