I got a new video card a while back, and since then, almost all of my
computer games run so slow and choppy, that they're barely playable.
The video card is a ATI Radeon 7000 32MB. I also noticed that before,
I used to have AGP texture acceleration enabled in DirectX with my old
video card (No idea what kind it was, but it was a 6MB I think), and
the games ran fine. My brother has a 6 MB one with AGP texture
acceleration enabled also, and his games run fine. On my newer video
card, it says that AGP texture acceleration isn't available. Would
this be the problem?
I'm also wondering what exactly AGP texture acceleration is, and why
it wouldn't be available on my new video card.
