Not without knowing what games and what they do, for starters.

Did you do a system upgrade over (say) Win98? "Upgrade" as in "bought a new
system with it?" Clean install?
Are all your video and chipset drivers up to date?
Do you get any error messages?
Are all the games patched?

OK, i'll try again..

Hello nice people

i have recently upgraded to Windows XP Pro and now none of my games work, they either crash or return to the desktop, does anyone know how to fix this

i have tried changing the compatibility and some illegal things like cracks but that doesnt work, it isnt a graphics card problem, i know that much

i also have dual P 3 processors, could this be that problem? if so, how do i turn dual processing off?

Ah well...

Here's what..Your processor should not be a problem at all.
However, if you have DOS based games, consider them unplayable.
If you have games that are based on WIN95 and DOS, you might have a 40%
chance of it working.
Windows 98 based games 70%.

First off, got the game's manufacturer web site for possible XP help
installation files or game patches after installation.

Example for a help install file is Globalstar Software's Bejeweled, game can
run in XP, but can't install without a helper program to help install.

Now onto the fun stuff of making it work.

1: Place your games into the drive.
2: Open the drive folder.
3: Right click the program that launches the installation file... usually
named "install, setup or run"
4: Select properties.
5: Click on the top tab that says compatibility mode.
6: Check mark Compatibility mode and select win 95, win 98 or any of the
other windows mode.

There you go hope this helps.

You may have to do these same instructions again, prior to launching the
game as well... this time you may need to change your display settings if it
graphically looks bad.

Hope this helps...
