Games graphics aren't very good

when i play games, the graphics goes all funny, they
start flashing,going different colours and all that
stuff. Can any one solve this problem please help?
graphics card = creative 3d blaster4 ti4800
motherboad = gigabyte sinxp
sound card = creative soundblaster audigy

Have you updated to the latest drivers for the graphics card from the
manufacturer's web site?
