I certainly think that the idea of the Games Explorer is a good one. But...
Is there any explanation of how to get games to appear in the Games
Explorer? I have installed Oblivion and it runs OK. I have drag-and-dropped
the .EXE file into the Games Explorer as Vista Help suggests but this does
not work. A message comes up saying:
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.
However, I don't know where this Set Associations control panel is. I have
tried to edit the properties of the "shortcut" created in the Games Explorer
but this doesn't work either (and the Edit button doesn't work).
Am I missing something? Or will Games Explorer only work with games which
the manufacturers have somehow set up to work with Games Explorer (in which
case it isn't anywhere near as good or useful as I thought).
