Do you have Accessibility options enabled on your system? Check in Control
Panel/Add or Remove Programs and then click on the Add/Remove Windows
Components in the left panel. If you do, and don't need them, I would
suggest removing them.

I am having the same probs with some ov my old games and
I have tryed to use the compatability program but nuthin
seems to b working

Hey dummy.
What "Accessibility options" am I looking for?
The "Games" in question are not on this "Games" list.
I turned off "Internet Games" but Sierra pinball game
is not on the list. Where can I find Accessibility for
this win98 game?

It might have cured your headache, however it's
similar to offering an aspirin to someone who needs
a bandaide. ;-) Compatibility is not the cure all.
I wish it was. It would make helping a lot easier. :-)

Thx for the answers for everybody, but it's not solved
yet. I know about the compatibility settings (the tab on
the file's properties), if the problem were so easy i
wouldn't ask it:)
I don't know what the hell should accessibility have to
do with the games, but i tried that way too, but windows
won't let me remove it.
By the way the games must be compatible with xp, because
hitman2 was the last one that made this little error...

Compatibility would have nothing to do with it, Lexx. I suggested
Accessibility options (if you had them installed) because you can set
different keystrokes in there for different actions.

Was there a point where this was working correctly? If so, what is
different now than it was then, and can you revert to that point using
System Restore? Have you checked your system for trojans (using the free
AdAware program, for instance) and run a virus check using the latest
definitions?
